![]() ![]() When trying to get a body to a bush on the other side of a door, you don't dump the body outside the door by default and you instead actually carry the body through the door.This is probably the most significant one and made my playthrough (and now replaythroughs to try and 100%) massively more fun. You can fast-forward time to avoid the boring waiting parts where you're just waiting for two guards to complete their cycles so they get to the exact correct position again.I'd want more missions but shorter ones and definitely an additional character or two that only appear in specific missions would help even more in keeping it fresh.Įdit: Shadow Tactics instead of shadow warrior If you're currently playing Desperados 3, would equally like to hear your thoughts and what you'd like in a sequel. I was only two thirds of the way through the game when I went online and ordered their previous title, Shadow Tactics. The game will keep you on your toes and not let you get overconfident, even on the easier difficulties, it still provided a challenge. ![]() It would have saved me so much time had I used it more. I probably used this ability only a handful of times throughout the whole game. ![]() One thing I kept forgetting to use was the ability to queue up actions for each character and execute them in one go. There were multiple missions where I thought fuck me, I have no idea how I'm going to do this, but tonight I finished the game, the last mission was an interesting puzzle. I enjoyed that aspect of it as it stopped it from getting stale. Gameplay wise, I did not expect to find this much variety in each character, some missions are obviously better suited for some characters, you get used to them then suddenly you don't have them in the next mission and you have to retrain your brain to think in terms of other character's skill set. However the antagonists didn't get much development beyond 'This is bad guy, he has no redeeming quality'. The storyline is a fairly typical revenge tale but the way it weaves in some of the characters, gives backstory etc was entertaining. I did not expect to like it this much or to binge through it so quickly but man was it worth it. I'd just finished Horizon and wanted something new, Desperados 3 turns up on PSnow and I think why not. I hadn't played an RTS game probably since Commandos when I was in high school, I remember my best friend and I used to exchange tips on how to finish certain levels.
